MAPC is committed to building relationships with our partners in Malawi. Currently we are funding the following projects:
Maize Mill in Livingstonia – With LISAP, an income-generating project where corn can be ground for a staple food Nsima.
Poultry Project – With Nkhoma Synod Youth Department, an income-generating project raising broiler and layer hens.
Christmas and Easter Cards – Created by artists of the Nkhoma Synod Youth Department and sold at MAPC during Advent and Lent.
The El Puente – Teatro Esperanza Program – MAPC is supporting Housing and Education in Nicaragua, through the El Puente – Teatro Esperanza program in León, under the direction of John and Ledis Caronna.
Children in Reconciliation Program of Liberia (CIRPOL) – A nonprofit organization whose founder is dedicated to "encouraging and training children from 16 different tribal groups to participate in a peace and reconciliation process through intercultural songs and dramas."
Amistad Mission – MAPC is supporting this nonprofit organization in their medical clinic and orphan-related work.
Face to Face / Faith to Faith – An international, multi-faith youth leadership program sponsored by the Auburn Theological Seminary in partnership with Seeking Common Ground. The program brings together Christian, Jewish and Muslim teenagers from Northern Ireland, the Middle East, South Africa and the United States to develop a new generation of leaders, able to negotiate a multi-faith global society.
