Anne is a graduate of Fordham University with a B.S. in Psychology in 1979 and the Columbia University School of Social Work with an M.S.S.W. in 1981. She worked as a psychiatric social worker with adolescents, young adults and their families for agencies in New York City. Anne returned to graduate school in 1994 to finally answer her call to ministry. She graduated from Union Theological Seminary in New York City in 1998 and was ordained to Ministry of Word and Sacrament in 1998 to serve the Brick Presbyterian Church as the Interim Associate Pastor for Christian Education and Discipleship. Anne served the Brick Church for six years. She has also served the First Chinese Presbyterian Church in New York City as Temporary Associate Pastor for the English speaking congregation in 2006. Anne is an active member of the Presbytery of New York City; she has chaired the Committee on Preparation for Ministry and is currently a member of the Committee on Ministry and the Sexual Misconduct and Response Team. Anne is married to Francis Conroy who works in finance in New York City. They have two daughters, Emily, a graduate student in American History at Harvard University and Julie a sophomore at Carleton College. Anne is an avid jogger and loves to practice yoga!
