The Hood Library
Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church has a library like no other we are aware in a New York City church—a regular lending library with a collection of current fiction and non-fiction (biography, history, current events, religion and spirituality). You will find the library just to the left of the elevators off the Church House Lobby. On Sunday morning, members of the Hood Library Committee staff the library before and after worship services. You are welcome to come in and browse the collection, check out books, or simply chat. On other days of the week, the library works on the honor system. Whenever the Church House is open you are welcome to come in and check out a book on your own. You will find a notebook on the desk to use in signing out your books. Please take advantage of this wonderful resource and stop in to The Hood Library on a Sunday morning or whenever you are in the building!
