Infant & Toddler Ministries
MAPC welcomes even our youngest members to share in our life of faith and discipleship. At the same time, we recognize that one of the best ways to do so is to support our parents as they model a life of faith to their children. The programs below are free and open to newcomers at any time; however, please call ahead to verify meeting times or in case the spaces fill up.
Sharing Faith with My Baby & Toddler
1st and 3rd Sunday Mornings, resumes Jan 2015
One of the most essential tasks as a parent can be introducing our children to a life of faith. These new playgroups are designed for our youngest children and their families to connect with one another as people of God through fellowship, prayer, music, movement, and art. No nannies or paid caregivers, please.
MAPC Children’s Library
Sunday mornings and by appointment
Our Youth Library has been reconfigured as a lending library for parents and young children, and a playroom for infants and toddlers on Sunday mornings during worship services. Parents may listen to the worship service as children read and play, and, in addition to storybooks, you will find books on parenting, Christian parenting, children’s Bibles and much more! The Youth Library is located behind the Reception office in the Church House Lobby.
Infant and Toddler Nurseries
Sundays 8:30 am to 1 pm
Church House, 4th Floor
Each Sunday throughout the year, MAPC provides a professionally staffed nursery for infants and toddlers to enable parents to participate fully in morning worship services and adult Christian education.
Our nurseries are located on the 4th Floor of the Church House building in space shared with the MAPC Day School. Children are cared for by a staff of professional childcare workers led by Rosie Agosto, a teacher in the Day School, and have access to books, toys, and cribs. A simple snack is provided, although you may bring your own snack for your child, if you wish. Each parent is provided with a special beeper so that they may be summoned to the nursery in the event of an emergency.
