A Palm Sunday performance of some of the most heart-rending choral music ever written, including the famous Lamentations of Jeremiah by Thomas Tallis, American composer Eric Whitacre’s haunting 18-part motet When David Heard, and the rarely-performed cantata, Crucifixus pro nobis, for tenor soloist, chorus and organ by 20th-century English composer Kenneth Leighton.
