Children's Worship
Phillips Lounge
Our year-round Children's Worship program is a special class for children 3-8, teaching them to participate in and understand the worship experience in the Sanctuary. After the Lesson for Young Christians in the regular worship service, children are escorted out of the Sanctuary for a worship lesson. The lesson begins with a liturgical greeting and an opening song, and then moves into a lectionary-based Bible lesson, complimenting the lesson heard at the font, prayer, offering, and fellowship time. The children return to the Sanctuary in time to receive Communion with their families and the rest of the congregation.
Parents, please make sure to send your child with a small offering so that your child may fully participate in this Children's Worship experience.
