To open their 47^th Season, the Saint Andrew Chorale and Orchestra will present Vivaldi’s beloved Gloria, RV 589, along with the rarely-performed but equally tuneful Introduction and Gloria, RV 588. Capping off the program are shorter works from the Italian Baroque: Torelli’s famous Trumpet Concerto in D, and two ebullient works for soloists, chorus and instrumentalists by Monteverdi.
